This tool simplifies the process of building new characters by automatically calculating the resources required for their upgrades. You can customize the settings; for instance, if you don't intend to level a character to 90, you can adjust the guide to show materials needed only up to level 70.
But there's more. The updated guide not only lists the materials but also pinpoints their locations on the map. By clicking on a material, icons will appear on your world map, guiding you to where you need to go. After selecting a character for upgrade, the game will set a reminder for the best times to farm those materials.

When viewing Character Development Items, you'll find a 'Craftable Amount' option under the item's description. Not only does this show how many items you can craft immediately, but clicking it also teleports you to the nearest crafting table, saving you time and effort.

The Genshin Impact 5.4 update also revamps the character list and filter system. Now, upgrading a character no longer requires flipping through multiple pages. For example, when upgrading a Cryo character's talents, you can use a new filter to view all your Cryo units directly within the talent section.
Additionally, PC players using a keyboard and mouse will benefit from a new central filter based on elements, which appears as you scroll through the character list, enhancing navigation and selection.
