Does Pity Carry Over in Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium? Answered

Sunborn's Girls' Frontline 2: Exilium, a free-to-play tactical RPG for PC and mobile, features gacha mechanics. A common question revolves around pity counters and whether they transfer between banners. The short answer is: yes, for limited banners.

Pity Counter Transfer Between Limited Banners in Girls' Frontline 2: Exilium

Your pity counter and pulls from one limited-time banner will carry over to the next. During the global launch, the simultaneous Suomi and Ullrid banners demonstrated this. Pulling on either banner increased the pity counter for both. This means you can strategically switch between limited banners to maximize your chances. This carryover applies to future limited banners, confirmed by Chinese players on Reddit. However, the pity counter does not transfer between limited and standard banners.

Soft and Hard Pity

While the hard pity is at 80 pulls, soft pity begins around 58 pulls. After 58 pulls without an SSR unit, your chances increase until you reach hard pity at 80 pulls.

This clarifies the pity system in Girls' Frontline 2: Exilium. For additional game guides, including rerolling, tier lists, and mailbox locations, check out The Escapist.
