Marvel Rivals Season 1 Adjusts Balance

Marvel Rivals Season 1: Dracula, Fantastic Four, and Balance Changes Detailed

NetEase Games has unveiled exciting details for Season 1 of Marvel Rivals, "Eternal Night Falls," launching January 10th at 1 AM PST. This season introduces Dracula as the primary antagonist and welcomes the Fantastic Four to the hero roster. Mister Fantastic and the Invisible Woman debut immediately, with Human Torch and The Thing arriving within six to seven weeks.

The Season 1 battle pass, priced at 990 Lattice (approximately $10), offers 10 skins and rewards players with 600 Lattice and 600 Units upon completion. Alongside the new heroes and villain, players can also anticipate three new maps and a fresh game mode: Doom Match.

Significant balance adjustments are also in store. Hela and Hawkeye, previously dominant forces, will receive nerfs to address their overwhelming power in higher-ranked matches. Conversely, mobility-focused Vanguards like Captain America and Venom will receive buffs to enhance their battlefield effectiveness.

Further balance tweaks include improvements for Wolverine and Storm, encouraging more strategic use of these mutants. Cloak and Dagger will also see enhancements to improve their versatility in team compositions. Jeff the Land Shark's early warning system will be adjusted to better reflect his ultimate ability's hitbox, though no major changes to the ultimate itself have been announced.

While NetEase Games remained silent on adjustments to the Seasonal Bonus feature – a point of contention among players – Season 1 promises a wealth of new content and balance refinements, generating significant player anticipation for launch.
