Isophyne's Unique Gameplay
Isophyne enters the Contest of Champions arena with a revolutionary fighting style. Unlike traditional characters who build power for special moves, Isophyne utilizes a "Fractured Powerbar" mechanic. This allows for unprecedented flexibility, enabling players to chain special attacks in any order they choose. Instead of the usual sequential Special 1, 2, 3 pattern, players can strategically repeat Special 1 multiple times or mix and match abilities for unpredictable combat strategies.
Mysterious Origins and Future Plans
Isophyne's backstory is shrouded in mystery, with connections to the Founders, a secretive group within the game's lore. More details about the Founders are promised for 2025.
Kabam's 10th Anniversary Celebration
This new character launch coincides with Marvel Contest of Champions' 10th anniversary. Kabam is celebrating with a series of surprises throughout the remainder of 2024 and into 2025. October's surprises included Glorious Guardian Reworks, Alliance Super Season, and 60 FPS gameplay. November promises four more exciting reveals.
