Hearthstone enthusiasts, get ready for Battlegrounds Season 10, titled Second Nature, launching on April 29th, 2025. This season ushers in a wave of updates, fresh content, and beloved features returning to the battlefield. As Season 9 concludes and Season 10 kicks off, ratings will reset, and the Track will undergo a complete refresh. Any unclaimed Season 9 rewards will be automatically awarded to players.
What’s Coming to Hearthstone Battlegrounds Season 10?
Staggered Reveal Schedule
To build anticipation, Blizzard is revealing the new content across several days:
- April 18th: Dragons, Demons, and Mechs make their debut.
- April 21st: Undead and Pirates join the fray.
- April 22nd: Naga and Quilboar arrive.
- April 23rd: Murlocs and Beasts round out the lineup.
Key Changes
Anomalies will no longer appear in the Tavern when the season begins. Additionally, turn durations will increase slightly, giving players more time to strategize and execute their plans.
Trinkets are making a comeback in a revamped format. These passive power-ups can now be acquired using Gold and will appear twice per game—once on Turn 6 (Lesser Trinkets) and again on Turn 9 (Greater Trinkets). Season 10 improves the likelihood of receiving Trinkets aligned with your current minion type, ensuring a more tailored experience. Over 100 new Trinkets are joining the roster, alongside more than 100 returning favorites.
Introducing Two New Heroes
Two new faces are joining the Battlegrounds arena:
- Forest Lord Cenarius: Channeling the classic Druid energy, Cenarius boosts Gold generation and amplifies late-game potential.
- Buttons: A returning hero with unique mechanics yet to be revealed.
Minion Pool Refresh
Blizzard is refreshing the minion pool with over 75 new and returning minions and Tavern spells. The Battlegrounds Track is also being reset, ensuring a dynamic and unpredictable gameplay experience.
