Delta Force, the popular free-to-play first-person shooter, has just released an exciting co-op campaign mode named Black Hawk Down. Inspired by the iconic film and a reimagining of the 2003 campaign from Delta Force: Black Hawk Down, this new mode promises an intense and immersive experience. Rebuilt using the cutting-edge Unreal Engine 5, players are transported to the chaotic streets of Mogadishu with a level of detail and realism that was impossible to achieve 22 years ago. The campaign is designed to be challenging, pushing players to their limits.
While it's technically possible to tackle the campaign solo, be warned: it's a formidable challenge. You won't encounter fewer enemies or less intense firefights when playing alone. The developers strongly recommend assembling a squad of four players, each choosing a different character class to leverage the power of teamwork. This cooperative approach is key to successfully navigating the campaign's seven chapters.
For those eager to dive deeper into the campaign's details, [ttpp] is the place to go. To mark the launch of this thrilling new mode, we had the privilege of speaking with studio head Leo Yao and game director Shadow Guo. They shared insights on the decision to reboot the classic campaign, their reasons for offering it for free, and much more.
