Dead Island 2's Patch 6 Introduces New Game Plus, Horde Mode, and More!
Dead Island 2 has unleashed its highly anticipated Patch 6, bringing a wave of thrilling new content for players. This update introduces several exciting additions, including a challenging New Game Plus (NG+) mode and a brand-new horde mode, "Neighborhood Watch." The Ultimate Edition also receives a boost with the inclusion of new weapon packs.
Confront the Revenants in New Game Plus
NG+ allows players to restart their Dead Island 2 journey with their existing character, inventory, and enhanced capabilities. Expect increased difficulty, three extra skill slots, a higher level cap, new weapons and skins, and a terrifying new enemy type: the Revenants. These formidable foes are described as more powerful Apex zombies with altered behaviors, promising a significantly increased challenge. Weapon power is also boosted in NG+, with a greater variety of fixed-rarity weapons to discover.
Neighborhood Watch: A Horde Mode with a Twist
The update also introduces "Neighborhood Watch," a unique blend of horde and tower defense gameplay. Players must defend their base over five in-game days, fending off relentless zombie hordes while completing objectives to earn valuable gear.
