Clash of Clans is set to revolutionize the game with an eagerly awaited update in March 2025, addressing long-standing player requests. This update promises to be one of the most transformative in the game's history, with several significant changes on the horizon.
No Troop, Spell, or Siege Machine Training Time!
Prepare for a new era of fast-paced battles as Clash of Clans eliminates training times for Troops, Spells, and Siege Machines. This means you can now launch consecutive attacks without any delay. Furthermore, the recovery time for Heroes is also being removed, ensuring your heroes are always ready for action. These changes will apply to players in Titan League and below, while the Legend League will retain its eight-battle limit per day for the time being.
This overhaul is part of Supercell's ongoing effort to streamline gameplay by removing outdated mechanics. Following the removal of training costs in 2022, eliminating training time is the next step in giving players a more seamless gaming experience without artificial barriers.
In line with these changes, Training Potions and Training Treats will be phased out as they become obsolete. These items will no longer be available in in-app purchase bundles, and any remaining in player inventories will be converted into Gems.
There’s a New Match Anytime System!
Introducing the innovative Match Anytime system, designed to keep the action going even when there aren't enough real bases to attack. This system allows you to engage with snapshot bases—saved versions of real player bases currently under Shield. These battles function just like normal ones, where you can earn loot and trophies, but the defending player won't lose anything. Previously implemented in Clan Wars and Legend League attacks, this system is now expanding to multiplayer battles.
With the potential for more battles per session, adjustments are being made to Trophy Curves, reducing the number of trophies gained from victories. Additionally, Clan Castle request timers are being standardized at 10 minutes for all players, ensuring a more consistent and fair gameplay experience.
