Story
Your journey begins in a serene forest near the village of Riders. Alongside your friends Lilia and Cheval, you stumble upon a mysterious, glowing egg. In a playful moment, you mimic the Rite of Kinship, only to be astonished when it actually works! The egg hatches into a baby Rathalos, the majestic "King of the Skies," whom you affectionately name "Ratha." You bring Ratha back to your village, but peace is short-lived.
Days later, a monster infected with the "Black Blight" attacks your village, leaving devastation in its wake and deep scars in the hearts of Cheval and Lilia. A year later, you receive a Kinship Stone from the Village Chief, marking your official transition into a Rider. As Cheval and Lilia pursue their own paths, you, with the cheerful Navirou by your side, set out on a new adventure into the world of hunters. A tale of friendship and triumph awaits—ride on into the world of Monster Hunter Stories!
