As a lifelong enthusiast of baseball games, I've crafted a high school baseball simulation that encapsulates the thrill and strategy of the sport. My vision was to create a game where players can develop characters as unique and compelling as those found in baseball manga.
Our game strikes a perfect balance between hitting, defense, and power, ensuring a rewarding experience no matter your strategy. When you hit a game-winning home run, the atmosphere is electrified with cool background music and iconic lines that enhance the drama of the moment.
This simulation brings to life the dream of managing a high school baseball team, nurturing players with distinctive traits, such as "pitchers who can only throw fastballs but struggle with control or variety," and leading them to victory in the prefectural and Koshien tournaments, aiming for the national championship.
This "dramatic high school baseball simulation" is designed for those who relish pure strategy and player development, with no gacha elements to distract from the core gameplay experience.
How to Play
In this game, you'll guide your players' development through tailored practice sessions. For fielders, you can focus on improving their meat/power, running ability, defensive skills, or intelligence. Pitchers can work on their fastball, changeable ball, control ball, or stamina.
Craft a development plan that resonates with each player's unique personality. Our game features players with rich backstories and compelling development arcs, such as:
- A genius pitcher overcoming the yips to finally check first base successfully.
- A novice (all abilities at G level) who focuses solely on hitting and secures a regular spot by his junior year summer.
Thanks to extensive user feedback during development, the game balance has been finely tuned, eliminating any single "must-win" strategy. This ensures that you can find your own path to success by nurturing a team full of personality.
Practice progresses on a monthly basis, with Koshien qualifiers held in July and September. Winning these qualifiers earns you a spot at Koshien.
Before each game, set your starting lineup and batting order. During the game, take on the role of coach, directing tactics such as bunt, stolen base, squeeze play, end run, and gamble start. The game accounts for detailed baseball dynamics, such as the positioning of runners, which can affect the ease of hitting grounders between first and second base.
To enhance the visual experience, we've included animations for batted ball handling and defensive plays. In critical moments, the game comes alive with friends' enthusiastic cheers and dramatic cut-ins featuring pivotal lines.
Given the high school setting, senior players retire after the summer tournament. We're also planning to introduce a "User Koshien" feature (not available in the current version), where teams can compete in tournaments, with data saved just before the third-year students retire. An official User Koshien tournament is also on the horizon.
