Jib Games' Polity, a new massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG), has launched across multiple platforms. This free-to-play title offers a unique sandbox experience within a single, massive server, allowing players to collaboratively build and customize their colonies.
What is Polity?
Polity places all players within the same shared world, fostering dynamic interactions. Visit friends' colonies, personalize your own homes, farms, forests, markets, and businesses, gather resources, craft items, and engage in player-to-player trading.
The game's setting is Blue Dot 2, a newly discovered planet overseen by Snotra, a highly advanced AI from Earth. Snotra's mission is to establish a human-droid society mirroring Earth's, encouraging players to build and contribute.
The cross-platform compatibility and extensive avatar customization options enhance the gaming experience. Beyond entertainment, Polity incorporates educational elements, such as learning about unique plant cultivation and greenhouse management.
A World of Skills to Master
Polity offers diverse roles for players to explore. Aspiring leaders can take on the role of president, managing colony finances and expansion. Those with a green thumb can become farmers, cultivating a variety of crops in their own greenhouses. Resourceful players can choose forestry, harvesting and processing timber.
Jib Games plans to introduce new skills every three months, with future additions including fishing, interior design, cafe management, mining, airport management, fashion design, and dock management.
