Understanding the Gameplay Mechanics of CHASERS
CHASERS: No Gacha Hack & Slash is an engaging action RPG set in a 3D simulated environment, where you'll engage in intense, fast-paced combat against various enemies. You can choose from a diverse roster of characters, officially known as "Chasers." As there's no gacha system, you'll unlock more Chasers as you advance through the game. The combat mechanics are familiar to modern ARPG enthusiasts, with unique twists in ability execution. During battles, you'll notice two essential bars at the bottom of your screen: the HP (Health Points) bar and the Energy bar. Your HP indicates your current health level; if it drops to zero, your Chaser is defeated and cannot continue fighting.
The Energy bar shows your current energy level, which is crucial for using your Chasers' abilities. This energy regenerates over time or can be quickly replenished using Energy drones found in dungeons. For controls, you'll use a virtual movement wheel on mobile devices, or opt for a more precise keyboard and mouse setup if playing on a PC with BlueStacks. A distinctive feature in the game is the "Elphis" magic mechanic, which allows your Chasers to unleash all their abilities without consuming any energy. This acts as a turbo mode, enabling you to focus on executing devastating damage combos. When your Elphis bar is full, it glows blue, signaling it's ready for activation. Crafting your Team Formation in CHASERS
Team composition and strategy play a significant role in CHASERS: No Gacha Hack & Slash. You can field up to three unique Chasers in battle. You have the option to manually select your Chasers or let the AI automatically fill the slots with the strongest available based on their power level. A notable feature of the combat system is the ability to switch between your Chasers seamlessly during fights. You can view all deployed Chasers on the right-hand side of the screen.
Leveling Up – Use your accumulated Gold and experience materials of varying rarities to level up your Chasers. Each level increase boosts their base stats like Attack, Defense, and Health. Chasers can be leveled up to a certain cap, beyond which they must be advanced to further increase the level cap.
Skilling Up – Enhance your Chasers' active and passive abilities using Rusty Bolt of Wave and Battle Data of different qualities. This improves the damage output of skills and reduces their cooldowns.
Breakthrough – This feature requires duplicate copies of the same Chaser, which can be purchased from the shop using premium currency. Each duplicate allows you to break through your Chaser, enhancing their abilities, stats, or unlocking new ones. Chasers can undergo breakthroughs up to six times.
