In today's fast-paced world, technological advancement has become an essential part of our daily lives and a necessity we cannot do without. It is crucial for those who hold the torch of knowledge and science to embrace modernity and cultural globalization. This ensures the preservation of our scientific heritage and makes it easily accessible to a broader audience.
At the Heritage Revival Center at al-Abbas's alternatives, we recognize the importance of our leadership in this field. Despite the rich legacy we possess, it has not received the attention it deserves in terms of printing. While individual efforts have been made to print some volumes in certain centuries, these have been carefully handled by dedicated researchers.
To address this, we have developed an electronic application that caters to both specialists and those interested in our heritage. This application serves as a knowledge interface for those eager to explore the scholars and men of the true sect, making it easier to search and delve into their works in the shortest possible time.
The application includes the book in three formats:
- A text format that closely matches the published version.
- A digital version of the printed book.
- A unique feature for specialists: a manuscript copy handwritten by the author, may God Almighty have mercy on him. This allows users to verify any suspected typographical errors, as most volumes of the book have not been thoroughly checked and may contain such errors.
Despite its simplicity, this application offers several advantages that we believe will benefit researchers, which we can summarize as follows:
- The ability to read each version of the book separately.
- The option to search the entire encyclopedia or specific sections, with both normal and advanced search capabilities.
- The ability to copy or share text.
- The option to print pages of the book in all three formats.
- The ability to open two windows simultaneously: one for the text and another for the printed version, with the ability to zoom in and out, and a feature that links the pages of both windows during browsing.
- An index of the names of translators in each volume, as well as an index for the entire encyclopedia, with the ability to search within these indices.
- The option to bookmark any page of the book in all three formats.
- The ability to add notes or comments to any page of the book in the notes section for all three formats.
As we present this application to our valued users, we extend our heartfelt thanks, praise, and appreciation to everyone who contributed to the creation of this remarkable work. We are grateful to the eminent scholar of his time, Sheikh Agha Buzurk al-Tharani, may God have mercy on him, who dedicated himself to typesetting, interviewing, and printing parts of this work on paper. We also thank those who preserved a written copy and made it available to researchers, fulfilling the zakat of knowledge. Finally, we express our gratitude to the dear brothers who tirelessly worked on developing this application. May God reward them all with the best reward for their efforts.
