Use Clapperboard to record and verify video authenticity via blockchain.
Clapperboard lets you record video using any camera (CCTV, webcam, action camera, drone, etc.) and verify its authenticity and origin.
First, create a Clapperboard account and add funds.
To create an authentic video:
- Add a comment to your video.
- Request a QR code.
- Display the QR code on camera while recording.
The generated QR code and comment are permanently stored on the NEM blockchain. You'll then receive the video from your camera.
To confirm the video's integrity and that it was created after QR code generation, upload the QR code-containing video segment to http://product.prover.io/. A successful upload generates a Certificate of Authenticity with video details.
