Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery Drops Its Halloween Update For 2024!

Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery's 2024 Halloween update has arrived, bringing a spooky season celebration to Hogwarts! Throughout October and November, players can enjoy a Dark Arts-themed event featuring new locations, eerie activities, and a hauntingly festive makeover of the game's environment.

A Spooky Celebration

The Halloween spirit is immediately apparent in Diagon Alley and Hogwarts Castle, both adorned with spooky decorations. This year's Halloween also introduces several new spooky locations to explore.

A house-themed pumpkin hunt offers magical rewards leading up to October 31st, while a thrilling Creature Expedition challenges players to confront the fearsome Acromantula.

The Swooping Evil, a terrifying creature from "Fantastic Beasts," makes its debut in a special adventure. This brain-eating, stingray-like beast has infiltrated Hogwarts Castle, requiring players to assist Hagrid in capturing it before any mishaps occur.

A new side quest, "The Vampire of Hogsmeade," introduces vampires lurking near Hogwarts, prompting Professor Dumbledore to temporarily close Hogsmeade. Players must unlock the One-Eyed Witch statue to uncover the mystery hidden within the fog.

New Features: The Hogwarts Diary

The update introduces the Hogwarts Diary, a new feature where players solve puzzles by participating in various in-game activities. Completing diary sections reveals artwork through magical inkwells, unveiling a captivating overarching narrative.

The initial task involves assisting Madam Pince in the library to locate the Lost Spore Scrolls, left behind by Professor Phyllida Spore, a former Hogwarts headmistress. These scrolls contain secrets about the school's magical fungi.
