The game kicks off with a setup that's both visually appealing and strategically complex. You'll find eighteen cards laid out face-down, forming three pyramids, each with three overlapping tiers. Above these pyramids, ten cards are placed face-up, setting the stage for your journey. The rest of the deck, twenty-four cards strong, becomes your stockpile, with the first card flipped into the waste pile to start your adventure.
Your mission? Clear the peaks by moving cards from the tableau to the waste pile. The catch is, you can only move a card if it's one rank higher or lower than the top card of the waste pile, regardless of suit. Imagine a sequence like 7-8-9-10-9-10-J-10-9-8, where each move opens up new possibilities and uncovers hidden cards. As you progress, any face-down cards that are no longer covered are turned face-up, revealing more options and challenges.
