To update the software of Bring Digital Key to the latest version using the Bring & T update app, follow these straightforward steps:
Launch the Bring & T update app on your device.
At the bottom of the screen, you'll see an option labeled "Update digital key." Tap on this option.
From the list that appears, select the digital key labeled "BR_xxxxxxxx." If you can't find your digital key, simply click the [Search again] button to refresh the list.
Once you've selected your digital key, the app will display both the current software version of your digital key and the version to which it will be updated.
Press "Your device is correct." You'll notice the lamp on the digital key start to blink in purple for 10 seconds. During this time, briefly press the button on the digital key for 0.5 seconds.
Wait a moment, and you'll see the lamp on the digital key transition from purple to blue, indicating that the software update is in progress.
Once the update is complete, click "Close" to exit the app.
Remember, since the digital key software update is done wirelessly, keep the digital key close to your device during the update process.
Note that once the update begins, it cannot be stopped and takes approximately 2-3 minutes to complete. Ensure your digital key has sufficient battery before starting.
If the update process stops or an error occurs, simply close the app and restart it to try again.
You can only perform a software update on a registered digital key. An unregistered digital key does not support software updates.
